In 3D use, the Panasonic HDC-SDT750 captures two video files, one for the left eye
and one for the right eye, these separate videos each have a 960x1080 resolution.
The camcorder overlays the two videos to create a single AVCHD file, and when connected
to a 3D TV through an HDMI connection, creates a 3D picture to be viewed using active
shutter 3D glasses.
The AVCHD files, which the camcorder writes to an SD memory card, can also be plugged
into a 3D Blu-ray player and then played back on a 3D TV.
The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 has a 12x optical zoom and five microphones, each pointing
in a different position, so audio can be captured in 5.1 - meaning that a realistic
surround sound can be created when watched back on a TV connected to a home cinema
kit.
The HDC-SDT750 comes with HD Writer AE 2.6T PC editing software to allow users to
edit their 3D footage and then save it to a 3D Blu-ray player. The 3D camcorder is
also capable of time lapse recording, in 3D or 2D mode, that allows users to capture
slow-paced video sped up.
HDC-SDT750 comes with a 3D conversion lens that records right-eye and left-eye images
simultaneously through its two lenses. The right/left images (each with 960 x 1080
pixels) that enter through the lenses are recorded using the side-by-side method.
By attaching the lens, and connecting it to a TV that is capable of side-by-side
method 3D playback, vividly colourful 3D images can be viewed at home. However a
TV that is capable of side-by-side method 3D playback, 3D Eyewear, and HDMI cable
connection are required.
The 3MOS System has 7.59 million effective motion image pixels (2.53 megapixels x
3). This sensor separates the light received through the lens into the three primary
colors -- red, green and blue, and processes each color independently, to offer images
with significantly better color quality, detail and gradation than 1MOS sensor system.
Large-diameter F1.5 lens, 3MOS Sensor and Crystal Engine PRO have improved the efficiency
of light gathering, increased sensitivity, and reduced noise to enable bright, low-noise
recording in dim lighting.
1080/50p recording (Full-HD, 1920 x 1080, 50 progressive recording) conveys about
twice the information of 1080i (interlace) recording to produce high image quality.
It minimizes afterimages and flickering caused by subject motion and renders crisp,
detailed images. A 64-GB SDXC card can record approximately 27 hours 30 minutes of
1920 x 1080i high-definition video in HE mode, and approximately 5 hours 20 minutes
of 1920 x 1080p Full-HD video in 1080/50p mode. *Not available when 3D conversion
lens attached.
HYBRID O.I.S. is a optical/electrical image stabilization system. Further to blurring
by vertical/horizontal wrist movements, it detects subtle blurring by vertical/horizontal
entire arm movement and corrects them using a lens in the optical system and a sensor
in electrical system. In electrical image stabilization, utilizing an unused area
of the sensor when zooming, suppresses image degradation. Powerful correction realizes
beautiful images even when shooting on the move or zooming. **Normal O.I.S. works
when 3D conversion lens attached.
HDC-SDT750 provides more powerful hand-shake correction with O.I.S. Lock. By pressing
the O.I.S. Lock button on the LCD monitor, the blur detection sensitivity is maximized
and all kinds of camera movements are detected as hand-shake and corrected. O.I.S.
Lock is ideal for applications like bird watching, which call for zooming at a fixed
angle. ・Considerable blurring occurs when panning or tilting the camera, due to the
movement of the corrective lens.
