Is the equipment I hire from you, insured?

Only if you have requested and paid an additional 10% for UK insurance

 

 

Is there an ‘excess’ on Dvcamerahire insurance policy?

Yes.  £250 on most of the camera kit.  If the equipment has a lower value, then the excess is lower.

 

When do I pay?

You must pay for the equipment upon COLLECTION from our premises

 

 

What proof of identification do I need to produce?

A Drivers license or a Passport - it MUST have photo ID AND TWO  other forms of ID (utility bill, phone bill etc.)

 

 

When can I collect the equipment?

IF it is available - you can collect it the night before from 5.30pm onwards

 

 

When can I deliver the equipment back to you?

No later than 9.30am the next day - if it is after this time, you may be charged an extra day

 

Can I ‘hold or pencil’ equipment?

Yes. We will simply place your booking on as a provisional booking until you call us or we call you

 

 

 

• The equipment MUST be insured by YOU OR Dvcamerahire.  
   
• If YOU are taking care of the insurance we need to see YOUR insurance certificate / documents. If it is insured by us, there is an £250 excess on all camera claims - this will be lower on smaller valued equipment
   
• ALL cameras and equipment MUST be returned by 9.30am the day after your booking finishes. If deliveries are later than this, we will have to charge an extra days’ hire.
   
• Collection of the kit can be from 5.30 the day before
   
• We MUST have either a DRIVERS LICENSE or PASSPORT with PHOTO ID and TWO UTILITY BILLS
   
• We require FULL payment when you collect the kit.
   
• A £30 cash deposit (refundable) is required.
   
• Payment; Company cheque or personal cheque with cheque guarantee card, alternatively cash.
  NO CREDIT CARDS
   
• NO IDENTIFICATION - NO KIT

• Tell us what equipment you require
• We’ll let you know if it’s available
• You pick up the equipment from our W1 offices
• And then simply return it to us on the return date
