LIGHTS

At Dv camera hire we not only hire video cameras, but we hire most of the accessories associated with DV shooting.  We stock a large array of lighting equipment for most shoots. Simple camera top lights for very easy and simple requirements. PAG lights with a seperate battery power pack available to hire. If your need is a larger lighting setup then you may require a traditional set of red heads lighting kit or one of the Dedo light sets - all offering you flexibility for most shoots. Reflectors are also available for those awkward shots to light and to help fill in nasty shadows. Below you will see our lighting kit that is available to hire. If there is something not shown that you would like to hire, please do contact us.

Camera top light

We have PAG Lights that either sit on the camera itself or have a separate battery pack and can be hand held. Both lights offer excellent lighting capabilities. The small camera mounted light, offers 20 watts and has a battery directly attached or the larger hand held PAG light offers up to 35 watts with barn doors and operates with a separate large battery pack.  

Run time:

With a 10 watt lamp expect to see 3 hours, 45 minutes of use per NP-970 battery. Also switchable to 20 watt operation.

PAG lights

Paglight 6 DV Lighting Kit - PAG has miniaturised its professional camera top light, which can be seen in action on the TV News every night, and produced this ultra-compact 6V light designed especially for use with smaller DV camcorders. This broadcast quality camera light is cool-running, has a focusable beam angle, and a patented system that makes lamp changing quick and easy.

LED lights

These new LED lights, fit directly on the camera or can be handheld. Chose from 126 LED’s or the larger one, with 160 LED’s. Giving out a very even bright white light, they are perfect for low-light interviews.

Run time:

With 4 AA batteries, these lights run for over 3hours.
