At Dv Camera Hire we not only hire video cameras, but we hire most of the accessories associated with DV shooting. We stock a large selection of lighting equipment for most types of shoots. Simple camera top lights for very easy and simple requirements. PAG lights with a seperate battery power packs are available to hire. If you need a larger setup, then you may require a traditional set of red heads or one of the Dedo light sets - all offering you flexibility for your shoot. Reflectors are available for those awkward shots to light and to help fill in nasty shadows. Below you will see our lighting kits that are available to hire.
Hire LEd light panels - very portable, no heat and bi-colour panels make these a really good choice for interviews.

Sony top-light to hire
Hire a top light to fit on top of your camera
We have PAG Lights that either sit on the camera itself or have a separate battery pack and can be hand held. Both lights offer excellent lighting capabilities.
The small camera mounted light, offers 20 watts and has a battery directly attached or the larger hand held PAG light offers up to 35 watts with barn doors and operates with a separate large battery pack.
Run time: With a 10 watt lamp expect to see approx 3 hours of use per NP-970 battery. Also switchable to 20 watt operation.

Manfrotto Mini LED to hire
Hire a Manfrotto 24 LED top light
The Manfrotto Midi LED Light is a 24 LED panel with high quality 5600°K output. Powered by 4 AAA batteries, the ML360 Midi has been designed for use with standard and hybrid DSLRs with video capability. You can stack more than one LED panel in order to increase the total light output. A backlight LED is included to light up the camera command dials when shooting in darkness. The Midi includes a dimmer switch to control the amount of light output (0-100% dimmability). These small devices are perfect for when small but effective lighting is required to light a small area on a night time shoot.

A compact, dimmable LED light which can be mounted on camera, lighting stand, Noga arm or used handheld. The Litepanels MicroPro is a soft, diffused LED source, particularly useful for interviews, as an on-board camera light & for confined shooting spaces, such as vehicles.

The striking feature of this light is how thin the panel is, making it highly portable and extremely flexible for tight situations. There are two battery plates on the rear which allow you to power the light either by 2 NP-F batteries (supplied) or a larger V-Lock battery for longer running times. Instead of forward-facing LEDs like in a conventional panel, the lights LED's are mounted around the outer edge, aimed inward at layers of diffusion material.

We have various sizes of foldable circular reflectors. Each reflector collapses into a small carry case. Perfect for fill light on location and studio. One side is white and the other side is silver for dual reflector requirements. We can also hire a stand to hold these light reflectors.
